Dyad User Evaluation Testing
Purpose
DUET provides crucial user feedback on features, usability, and messaging developed under the 4I FrameworkTM. This feedback is incorporated into the design, development, and launch phases to obtain optimal results.
Methodology
DUET uses proven techniques including our unique dyad testing, focus groups, web feedback forms, and user surveys.
1. Dyad Testing—During prototyping and development phases, specific task lists and expected outcomes are developed. One-to-one sessions are set up with users to evaluate how easily the tasks are completed. This is the best way to see if users will take the actions you want.
2. Focus Groups—Traditional focus group studies are an integral part of the user evaluation testing. Focus groups are conducted concurrently with dyad testing to maximize the intelligence gained from the sessions. We provide experienced focus group moderators as part of our service.
3. Web Feedback Forms—Online feedback forms are incorporated into alpha and beta development versions. The forms allow quick notification of bugs, design issues, and user feedback while ensuring that crucial information is automatically passed on to the development team.
4. User Surveys—Surveys are conducted during the beta and launch phases of the project. The surveys provide greater insight into user understanding, motivation, and expectations.
5. Document results—At the completion of each testing round the results are analyzed, documented, and presented back to you. The results focus on how well the development effort meets the criteria of the 4I Framework.
